APRIL 2019 dear friends, here is the test of the letter written by the boys of the Caloprese School to their friends at the Don Bosco Boys Home.

MY CLASS
Hello friends, We are Andrea, Angela, Martina, Riccardo, Mario and Daniele. We are from Scalea. We are 12 years old and we are in class 2D. In our classroom, on the walls there are pictures made by us, a map and a noticeboard where we express on pieces of paper our worries about tests. We laugh when we read again those messages because in many cases we don’t have the vote we expected but a higher one.In our week there are 13 subjects: Music, Italian, Religion, Maths, P.E.(MONDAY);  French, English, Math, Italian, History ( TUESDAY);  History, Maths, Art ( WEDNESDAY); Technology, Maths, History, French (THURSDAY); Maths, Italian, English, P.E (FRIDAY); English,Technology, Music, Italian, Geography (SATURDAY). We have 9 teachers. Our English teacher is a very kind woman. She’s always happy and funny, so when we have English lessons we are very happy too. Our Italian teacher is a sociable woman. She teaches us also Geography and History and she has taught us a lot about your country. Our Maths teacher is a serious but nice man. He teaches also Science. Our French teacher is also very nice. We like French, but we prefer English. Our R.E. teacher is very smart and fashionable. Her favourite sentence is: “This is not toilet’s hour” she always writes it on the board. During her lessons we study world religions. We have started some lessons about Don Bosco and his religious order: the Salesians.  Our Art teacher is a colorful woman. She always wears colorful clothes and make up. We really like Art. Our Technology prof is a very clever man. He knows everything of technology. Our P.E. teacher is a funny man. He always smiles and we enjoy a lot his lessons. Our Music teacher is a smart woman. She always wears hats so we call her “Mrs Hatter”. In our class there is also Mr.Angelo Forestieri. He is a tutor for Daniele and for….everyone. We also have music lessons in the afternoon. We play the guitar with Mr P.Perrone, the flute with Mr V. Borrello, the piano with Ms Giusy Bartolo or the trumpet with Mr A. Pisano During the school year we do some competitions with the school orchestra. We also have Christmas and final concerts, it’s fantastic! We love music especially because we share this passion. Bye for now. Your Italian friends

MY CLASSMATES
Hello friends!. We are Daniela, Giulia, Marica, Samuel, Tullio and we want to tell you about our life in class. In our class there are 9 girls and 13 boys and we get on very well. There is Sebastian, who is great in Maths, but he doesn't help us so frequently...Then there is Martina, a funny and kind girl. She has lots of friends. Do you have many friends? There is Mario, who is very good at football.   Michele is a funny boy with a great  sense of humor. Do you like gags and jokes? Riccardo is very often like a leader. Jesus is lively and good with his friends. Then there is Marica. She communicates happiness. Liberato spends lots of his time on his bike. He loves it!  Daniela is a sociable girl, always ready to help who needs help. Then there is Samuel, who is a little bit shy. He always plays videogames. Chiara is a great athlete and a generous girl. Sara is very optimistic, she looks at life in a positive way. Tullio is a great fan of the Queen, an old rock group, and he loves all their songs. And you? Do you like music?
Daniele is a sweet boy and he is very good at playing the accordion. Taryn likes dancing and she is very fashionable.  Carlo plays the guitar very well and he's also a nice singer. Do you like singing?  Then there is Flaminia is a trustworthy girl.  Andrea is lively and funny. Giulia reads lots of book and she always plays volleyball. Do you like playing volley? Angela is a lovable and kind girl. Then there's Luca, an enthusiastic boy. He loves videogames.  And finally Lorenzo, a really nice boy.
These are our classmates. We are a group, and we often have fun at school. We do lots of activities like trips, projects...
This year we went to Cosenza, at the “Garden” theatre to watch a show about the “Canterville ghost”, a comedy (a funny story). On11th April we went  to Padula, to see beautiful caves. 
Would you like to travel around the world, exploring and discovering lots of things? For us it's yes!
An important project that we're doing in these days is the “friendship box” a box where we put our thoughts about friendship, but also  sweet messages to our friends.
Now you are also our friends and we are happy to write to you. To the next letter…..

MY SCHOOL
Hi friends, we are Michele, Jesus, Luca, Chiara and Sara. Our school is a Low Secondary. Its name is  I.C. Gregorio Caloprese. It’s so big and it is near the sea. There are three floors.
In our school there is a Music room, computer lab, drama room, Art lab, main hall, gym and canteen. There are also a lot of classes.
In every class there is a whiteboard. 
Our head-master is Saverio Ordine.  He is tall, very slim and middle aged. He is very intelligent and he is always ready to help.
This is the hall of the school.The garden of the school.The minibuses are always available. It is  a pleasure to take part in this twinning…

MY TOWN 
Hello friends! 
We are SEBASTIAN,TARYN,FLAMINIA,LIBERATO,LORENZO and CARLO. We’d like to introduce our town SCALEA. In the summer, the sea is very very beautiful.The TALAO TOWER, is a fantastic old castle.
In the summer, there are also very funny rides. In Scalea pizza is really delicious. This is the football field… …and this is a pedestrian area.
People usually go for a walk in the seafront. Well, our presentation is over, we hope you like it…to the next one.
